Helpful next steps

Start with where you are—not where a form expects you to be.

Aged care can feel confusing when the next step depends on approval, funding, provider availability or an arrangement that is no longer working. We will start with your situation.

A useful current update

Personal care contributions change from 1 October 2026.

If personal care is approved in your Support at Home plan and you have available funds, the Australian Government will fully fund personal care services delivered from 1 October. Eligibility and approval rules still apply.

What changes on 1 October?
Once we understand where you are up to

The rest of getting started stays simple.

We do not need you to become an aged-care expert. We need enough information to have the right conversation, be honest about availability and agree on the next action.

1

Talk with us

Tell us where you are up to, what is becoming difficult and what would make life at home easier.

2

Work out the next step

We clarify the practical next action—navigation, an availability check, a service-planning conversation, or a careful provider-change discussion.

3

Plan support when the fit is right

When Acclyptic can meet your service, location and timing needs, we plan the support with you and make sure the people delivering it understand what matters.

A useful first conversation

What we will usually ask.

The first conversation is about understanding your situation—not filling every box on day one.

  • Where you are up to with My Aged Care
  • The support you need or are considering
  • Your suburb and preferred days or times
  • Any important routines or continuity concerns
  • How you would prefer us to contact you

We will be clear about availability

We would rather give you a useful answer than make a promise we cannot keep.

Availability can vary by service, suburb, preferred timing, assessment, care plan, funding and workforce capacity.

For people who are already approved or trying to arrange a CHSP service, we will focus early on the practical match: service + suburb + timing. If we cannot currently deliver what you need, we will say so clearly rather than leave you waiting on an uncertain promise.

Our promise

Helpful first. Commercial second.

Sometimes the right next step is to start planning services with Acclyptic. Sometimes it is to wait for an assessment, gather information or simply understand your options better. The first conversation should still be useful.

Already receiving support from Acclyptic?

Getting started is only the beginning.

If something is working well, needs adjusting or life has changed, you can ask us for a simple service-fit conversation at any time.

An extra layer of reassurance

Your Acclyptic contact key ring.

As part of getting started, clients receive an Acclyptic key ring carrying our contact details and an emergency message.

It does not contain medical information. Its purpose is to help a first responder know that Acclyptic may hold useful care information and can be contacted if the client cannot communicate clearly.
